So, what’s in our hot pot?
Terry’s delicious hot pot has a few key ingredients:
- Chuck steak – often over looked, but this cut of beef is perfect for hot pot recipes that use a slow cooking method. Cooking the steak for a low and slow helps to tenderise and soften the beef.
- Baby beetroots – don’t let the idea of a beetroot in a hot pot put you off! These delicious seasonal root vegetables compliment the flavour of the flavour of the beef and enhance the delicious gravy,
- Potatoes – this classic hot pot ingredients shouldn’t be forgotten about! The potatoes will crisp up perfectly and absorb some of the flavours of the hot pot too…delicious!
